Gamalan Trading PLC was established in 2023 through the vision and dedication of Mr. Ermias Yitagesu, a seasoned expert with over 25 years of proven experience in the coffee industry.
Gamalan Trading PLC is committed to delivering premium quality Ethiopian products to the global market.
We specialize in the export of high-grade green Arabica coffee beans, focusing on both washed and natural specialty coffees from renowned regions such as Yirgacheffe and Nensebo.
Our operations include two modern coffee washing stations and five specialty sun-dried processing sites located in the Nensebo district. This infrastructure allows us to maintain strict quality standards across our entire supply chain.
To ensure consistent excellence, we provide comprehensive training and follow-up in coffee harvesting, processing, and quality control. We work closely with supplier farmer groups and partner washing stations, supported by our team of dedicated quality advisors who oversee every stage of production.
Expanding beyond coffee, Gamalan Trading PLC has recently entered the fresh produce export market, supplying premium Ethiopian avocados and bananas to customers in the Middle East and Europe
Ethiopia Avocado
Our Company involves in Export of Ethiopian origin Avocado after indepth study and market assessment for demand, specially for Hass Avocado, for the Middle East and European countries and Ethiopian producer’s production potential. In 2024 we have successfully supplied trial shipment to European countries and have built expirence for large quantity supply to the potential buyers. Our fresh Hass Avocado supply is 100% traceable at individual farmers level.
We closely work with Avocado producers cooperatives and farmer groups in South and Western part of the country, having a potential of production to 1000 MT per Annum. We have signed an agreement with these coop’s and farmers groups to supply fresh Hass Avocado directly to our company. Some of the coops in south have a cold room for storing harvested fresh Hass Avocado until it is transported to the company export processing unit in Addis.
We provide training to the supplier coop’s and producers group member farmers on quality avocado fruit harvesting, fresh delivery and quality control.
